Halal Food is a Canadian startup with a mission to simplify lifestyle discovery for the Muslim community. Beyond just food delivery, the goal was to create a centralized hub where users could find verified Halal restaurants, butchers, ingredients, and even pharmacies carrying compatible products.
The platform needed to feel authentic and trustworthy while maintaining the slick, responsive performance expected of modern 'Super Apps' like Uber or Grab.
The primary user pain point was fragmentation. Users had to switch between multiple apps to check prayer times, find halal restaurants, and verify pharmaceutical ingredients.
We approached the redesign with three core pillars.
